Press release here:

On April 14th 2012 Magic Love Bus Journey cast off from San Francisco dedicated to “healing divisions – coast to coast” by bringing people of all colors, creeds and classes together on the Bus to share music, food, ideas and their hearts. Since then Bus has hosted free events all across America, providing a platform for free expression and a vehicle for personal and group transformation.

On July 1st the Bus will host its final 2012 Journey event in Asheville, where the San Francisco organizers of the journey have decided to make their new home.

The crew has been sharing food, music, dancing, campfires, mind and heart opening movies and hosting discussions at local gatherings throughout the southwest and deep south as a way of raising social consciousness to heal divisions and create heart based connections (see MagicLoveBus.org for “Bus Route” and documentation of the journey).

They’ve also been recording interviews and sharing what they learn during their cross country field trip online at MagicLoveBus.org. They look forward to interviewing people in Asheville and including their thoughts and feelings in the documentary movie of the journey.

LovEvolutionSolution.org, the web community sponsoring the journey, was founded late last year by a couple who recently moved to Asheville (Fairview) and who participated in Occupy Wall Street in NYC. They came to believe that true transformational change required a heart based LovEvolution that was inclusive of all people, not just the 99%. They are part of the crew of LovEvolutionaries that’s relocating the Bus to Asheville.

The Magic Love Bus has led every Love Parade in San Francisco for a decade and has been taking the spirit of this famous love parade across America. The Bus was a famous icon on the West Coast festival scene and looks forward to sharing its magic in Asheville. The crew invites the Asheville community to connect with them on the bus and online at www.magiclovebus.org to get on board for the LovEvolution.
