When we did the Kelly Monaco post below, we didn’t know John “Punnyman” Le was going to put the moves on, “hustle” out to the dance floor (his words, not mine) and do a little number Wednesday night at 11 on how ABC’s hit show “Dancing With the Stars” was encouraging local people to dance.

This is the kind of shameless self promotion that makes us sick. Here they go again, trying to make sumpin’ outta nuttin. There’s no trend here. People aren’t knocking down doors of local dance halls because they saw J.Peterman and a former Playboy playmate twirling on ABC.

Why? Because real people, real dancers, don’t look like Evander Holyfield or Playboy playmates. They look like this guy. And they have no style, grace or rhythm. So please Le, stop acting like this is some kinda trend or something. I don’t care if you want to promote ABC – just don’t try to pass it off as a legit story.

And John, please don’t ever dance on television again. You scared us.
