At the end of her first night of news reading for the CBS Evening News, Katie Couric said people across America have been asking what her sign-off will be. Katie said she really didn’t know, then showed some famous sign-offs, such as Dan Rather’s “Courage,” Walter Cronkite’s “And that’s the way it is” and even Ron Burgundy’s “Stay classy, San Diego.”

Katie urged us all to e-mail her our own suggestions. She said who knows, maybe one of the suggestions will stick.

Well, Katie, you asked for it, so here you go. Here’s our Top Ten Sign-offs for Katie Couric:

1. “Holla!”
2. “Hey Dan, suck it.”
3. “Couric.”
4. “Peace out.”
5. “Good night and stay perky, America.”
6. “Be good to your colon, and your colon will be good to you.”
7. “The tribe has spoken.”
8. “The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.”
