Merrimon Avenue restaurant La Carreta is slated to become a Trader Joe’s parking lot.

The local owners of La Carreta, New York Fashions and Benjamin Moore paints, all scheduled for demolition, talk to WLOS in this video. Click the image to watch (video not embeddable).

    I’m excited we are getting a Trader Joe’s, BUT I wish they were considering a different location. Merrimon Avenue is already a nightmare to navigate. That video made me feel really sad for the other business owners.
