Insane crazy at the drum circle

The drum circle wasn’t as hype as it was last Friday. But the rumor buzzing around the place was that Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins was going to show up because he’s been talking nonstop about how much he loves the drum circle in between specially cooked, allergy free meals that he’s eating around town.

Alas, we didn’t spot Billy. But we certainly saw the usual freaks and geeks that inhabit the downtown drum circle. Last week, there was a dude with a complete drum set in the middle of everything. And last week, we also saw a first for the drum circle – a three-man bagpiping crew, complete with kilts. They rocked.

Well, there’s always next week, Billy. Just let us know.
