Asheville dance master Whitney Shroyer aka DJ Dr. Filth is back with a new late-night dance party. It’s being held in the upstairs portion of Broadway’s on North Lexington Avenue in downtown.

The Wednesday night residency during the month of March is a test, Shroyer tells me. The “Soul Night” dance party will go from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., just like the former (and popular) dance party that Shroyer (along with Greg Cartwright) hosted at The Admiral for nearly a decade.

The Admiral dance party ended its decade-long run last year.

Shroyer says his Broadway’s residency is a test run.

“Will be doing it for the month of March, and if people come out, I’ll keep doing it,” Shroyer says.

Dance on!
