June 21 and 22, 2013 Blue Ridge Pride will be hosting the 3rd Annual Blue Ridge Pride White Party Weekend. The weekend will be composed of an evening at the Renaissance Asheville Top of the Plaza on Friday and a Saturday dance party at O.Henry’s Night Club on Haywood Street in downtown Asheville. As part of Blue Ridge Pride’s commitment to community, a portion of the proceeds will go to Loving Food Resources, a food pantry for people living with HIV/AIDS or who are in home hospice care.

Friday night will entail heavy hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and live entertainment by Sweet Claudette. We’ll also have a “No-so-Silent” Silent Auction with some local characters encouraging you along the way as well as a Live Auction during the night. You don’t want to miss out on some of the fantastic items on the block! (Jonas Gerard artwork, LaZoom private party rental, & Harrah’s trolley run just to name a few!) We’ve got a little bit of everything!

Saturday night the crew at O.Henry’s will have several great things happening including; drink specials, a DJ dance party in the Underground, and special guests! July 13, 2013 Blue Ridge Pride will also host the 3rd annual Gay 5K and Rainbow Romp at Carrier Park in West Asheville. Early registration is $20 and guarantees a t-shirt. Registration the day-of is $25. Top prizes for 1st and 2nd runners in each category. These prizes will be listed on our website as the event draws nearer.

The Rainbow Romp is open to all and is non-competitive and fun for everyone! Registration is free and although it doesn’t include a t-shirt, it does come with goodies! Participants can register at www.blueridgepride.com.
