Press release here:

Buncombe County Public Libraries now have digital magazines available to read online or download to your portable device. All you need to access this free service is a Buncombe County library card.

From the library’s home page, use the digital magazines link to create a free account on Zinio. Once you’ve created your account, you can log in and read magazines online, or download digital copies to your computer, tablet, ereader or phone using the app available on the site. Once you download a magazine to your device, the magazine will never expire and you can read it for as long as you like.

Zinio’s unique technology digitally recreates magazines page for page, including full color pictures and interactive elements such as audio or video. Consumer Reports, Martha Stewart Living, National Geographic, Newsweek and Rolling Stone are just a few of the 50 popular titles available with your library card.

For more information, contact your local library or visit buncombecounty.org/library.

I wish Burke County would take notice of this. This is a great service!
