$4.99 for a gallon of regular unleaded last nite at the shell on Haywood Road/240. Bullshit.
Ingles Long Shoals Road. $4.75 A GALLON
Now, we all remember the jump in gas prices back when Katrina came ashore. Well the gas prices went up and then fell about 15%. And we just presumed that was the new price because we kept hearing about damage on the rigs. Well, now look at the price of gas. Gas is at an all time high because of specualtion (repeat specualtion) And then we had a hurricane come ashore at basically the same speed it came through the mountains a few years ago. Because of IKE gas jumped ONE DOLLAR this week on top of the rise in oil specualtion caused by greety traders. Now are we prepared to sit here while the gas prices fall 15% and settle with a price of $4.03 that will likely go up from there. We have totally lost the drop in gas prices over the past weeks.
It is interesting … gas went up here in Waynesville by about $.70 overnight.
