Press release here:

Hi Jason,

We are gearing up for the sixth season of art classes at the River’s Edge Studio in the arts district of Asheville. I think it is some kind of record that an artist run learning center and gathering and exhibition space has survived in the ups and downs of the art life and the recent economic challenges!! Folks just want to be creative, and we all send our thanks to the creative and postivie folks in Asheville who make our lives fun and productive as we make art together.

We now have 9 top notch professional artists who freelance in the studio/classroom where we teach classes in our specialties (oils, acrylics, encaustic, collage, watercolor, sumi-e, palette knife, drawing, pastels). Our building, Riverview Station, is a huge old industrial building built over 100 years ago, and there are many artists working all around. The vibes are good, let me tell you. Here is what we have coming up to kick off our chilly season, and we have plenty of snow day make-up options, lets just hope we do not have to use too many of these! See the full schedule at www.fletamonaghan.com and call me or email at 828-776-2716 or [email protected] for more information. Happy New Year Everyone!!
