Fun! Press release here from loyal reader John:

ATTN: Citizens of “Beer City, USA”
Be advised that forged in Asheville’s mysterious French Broad Brewery and appearing suddenly in various locations at once, the Professor X of Potables, the Batman of Brews, the Liberator of Libations…behold the SuperHero IPA!
French Broad Brewing Company, along with guest brewer Billy Klingel of Oyster House Brewing, is proud to announce the upcoming release of the official beer of Asheville’s Fanaticon Festival.
SuperHero IPA will be punching its way through Asheville’s beer scene beginning the week of May 16th.
More tempting than the ring of power, more legal than Romulan ale, and clocking in at 6% ABV,
SuperHero IPA is brewed with a galactic quantity of West Coast hops and finished off with a Krypton-sized load of Simcoe dry hops after fermentation. WARNING: the hop kick from just one sip might send you leaping over Vance Monument!
Be on the lookout for Superhero IPA at all official Fanaticon events and in bars throughout town. Don’t
let your guard down! In spite of its numerous phenomenal attributes, SuperHero IPA will not drink itself!
