This is great news for the Asheville area! I called the Field and stream store in Cary N.C. and they offer a complete line of firearms (both pistols and long arms). There is no major retailer anywhere near here that does this. They will be equal to Bass Pro, Gander Mt., or Cabeles. The Field and Stream in Cary carried a full line of Glock, S&W and other pistols and revolvers as well as a full line of ammunition.
