Everybody take a deep breath over the dead Obama bear

Everybody needs to take a deep breath and think a minute before saying another word about the dead bear wrapped in Obama political signs found at Western Carolina University’s entrance.

From the Huffington Post:

As the Asheville Citizen-Times editorialized today, “It was an innocent bear cub that lost its life this time as some deranged person or persons expressed their political rage. Next time, it could be an innocent person.”

Excuse me? This editorial was written before all the information was in, and it’s incorrect. The bear was killed after it was accidentally hit by a car, according to police, who originally said it had been shot in the head. The entire incident was a prank. Period. No political message. No racial overtones. It wasn’t a black bear.

So stand down, Citizen-Times. Chill out. Everybody.

I will get back to you on this one Ash..pretty raw emotion from a hit and run with my beloved cattle dog. I did not know my elderly Mom had let him out to go to the bathroom.

Glad to know the CUB was not murdered.
