It’s raining in Marion, Ohio as well. We voted at 9:30 and breezed in. The only thing that slowed us down were the great number of issues to vote on. The result of a legislature that is too afraid to do anything.
Meanwhile the three flyers we received in the mail from Communities Voting Together and the one flyer from the LCV action fund, all asking us not to vote for Charles Taylor worked. We didn’t vote for him. I guess we are still technically registered voters in North Carolina, simply because you don’t unregister when you move out of state. Still the flyers came with a computer generated Marion, Ohio address on them.
I have no plans to travel to N.C. today to try to sneak a vote in.
We had to show ID at the polls today for the first time. I said I had a mole, but they wanted to see my license.
