Friday night’s drum circle in Pritchard Park in downtown Ashvegas saw a great crowd Friday night, mostly because of some recent controversy. Last Friday, Ashvegas police shut down the drummers early – they usually go until 10 p.m. – because of a few complaints about noise.

The drummers have a permit to do their thing, so police are going to meet with the complainers and drummers and try to work it all out. But WLOSer Russ “Beefcake” Bowen filed infotainment reports live from the drumming circle Friday at both 6 and 11. The park was empty, of course, at 11, but that didn’t stop him.

As usual, the park was quite a scene, filled with all manner of drunken bum, curious tourist, this sexy belly dancer and more.
