According to Facebook, downtown breakfast-and-lunch spot Cafe Ello is now Cafe 64:

The Facebook thread shares that the former Cafe Ello will continue with the same menu.

More from the Citizen-Times:

The owners of Cafe Ello, Lorne Richman and Ellen Bluestone, have sold their Haywood Street breakfast and lunch eatery.

But although Ello is no longer (and the logo has been wiped clean from the front window), Cafe 64 has already opened in its place, serving the same menu. So yes, you may still get that addictive scrambled egg, bacon and cheddar breakfast sandwich with tomatoes and garlic aioli. New owner Gary Taylor said he may add a nighttime menu. But for now, not much is changing, he said. “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m to 2 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
