Oskar Blues in Brevard adds tanks as growth continues

oskar_blues_tank_addition_2013Here’s the word from Oskar Blues spokeswoman Anne-Fitten Glenn, which sent along the above photo of today’s tank additions:

We now have 23 total fermentation tanks, and 6 total Bright tanks. We are on track to produce 50,000 bbls of beer in our first year (which ends 12/12/13). Our original estimate was for 35,000 bbls in our first production year, but demand for our beers on the East Coast has pushed us to increase capacity more quickly—which is an awesome challenge to have!

Oskar Blues is growing by leaps and bounds.

    Thanks Jason! We brewed our first batch of Fidy last week. We’ll be having a release party in our Tasty Weasel sometime in the coming weeks 🙂
