We picked up on this thread on the Battlestar Galactica message boards and loved it. The thread was called Adama’s Leather Sectional Sofa Appreciation Thread and we’re thinking of starting up the official Adama’s Leather Sectional Sofa Appreciation Club.

The message board writer said he appreciates BSG’s “sense of visual style, and the little ways it shows people creating comfort in an inhospitable situation. The foremost example of this can be found in Admiral William Adama’s quarters, in the form of not only allegorical paintings and artifacts of a lost civilization, but a damned fine-looking leather sectional sofa.”

There’s some debate over whether or not to call it Couch One or Couch Actual.
