Laura Boosinger with Josh Goforth and Raymond McLain   [southern old-time]
July 6 • 8pm
Free and open to the public

Claw-hammer banjo player/vocalist Laura Boosinger is an accomplished musician. This is “old time” mountain music or as Laura calls it music from the Southern Highlands. If you pass it by you’ll be missing a treat. Laura Boosinger was a student at Warren Wilson College in the late 70s when she decided to take a banjo class for a college credit. Little did she know the class would open her up to a whole new world.
