Note here from loyal reader Emily:

Hi Jason,

I am an educator at the Colburn Earth Science Museum in Pack Place. In 2 and 3 weeks we are hosting a “Kids’ Night at the Museum” event. Our intentions are to offer a unique experience for children in grades K-5. We will be offering science lessons, games, crafts, and even food!! We hope to offer parents a convenient way to enjoy a date night or early holiday shopping, while knowing their children are safe and learning about fun science topics. The events are on the 2nd and 9th of December from 5 – 9 PM, and each event will feature a different theme. I’m really luck to work in this amazing museum, and unfortunately, far too many Asheville citizens don’t know about it. Please help me get the word out!! Thanks so much!

Emily Paul
