After a sellout debut this summer, a new burlesque company is back by popular demand. “The Dreaming,” a show inspired by dreams (and with a creepy touch that borders on nightmare), includes drag acts, puppetry, pole dancing and striptease.
“There will be extravagant dance numbers in the style of the Ziegfeld Follies. Most importantly, there will be beautiful ladies presenting carefully crafted routines, each one inspired by a dream.”

Back by popular demand, Blue Skies Burlesque returns to the Magnetic Field for a second run of their debut show, The Dreaming. After a sold out debut in August, they have been invited back for a second run of five shows. This run promises to be more haunting with a few new surprises to be revealed.

Burlesque already plays on our desires for beauty and sensuality, and in The Dreaming the audience will be asked to go even further. Guided by the Sandman himself, attendees will experience the journey of the strange, dark and sometimes twisted workings of the sleeping mind. Blue Skies Burlesque revels in the macabre and finds beauty in the grotesque. While comedy is still an important element, this is not your typical 1950s inspired pinup striptease.
