Via Scrutiny Hooligans, here is Freeborn talking about the need for Asheville City Council to lead. I agree:

If council was smart and got their head out of their collective ass and understood that their job was more than inflating their egos on tuesday night they would be able to solve some of these problems. Outside of their role as council members and commissioners I like them all. However their approach to governing and ability to lead our city and county organizations has failed us. There is too much at stake and their incompetence is to deep for this bunch to focus on the task at hand.
