Newly formed Asheville-based promotional marketing company QC Productions makes an exciting announcement of the inaugural, homegrown Carolina Cultural Exchange Music Festival (CCX Music Fest) that will deliver “the best music, culture and community the Carolinas has to offer!” Lineup includes Local AND Regional favorites including featured artists from Mountain Xpress, Free Times (SC’s Mountain Xpress equivalent), PASTE Magazine, Shuffle Magazine, NPR and The New York Times as well as openers for The Avett Brothers, B.B. King, Shovels & Rope, The Lumineers and Langhorne Slim! These critically-acclaimed artists have played such festivals as Bonnaroo, Merlefest, LEAF, FloydFest, Bristol Rhythm and Roots, and Bele Chere

CCX Music Fest 2013 will be hosted by The LAB & Emerald Lounge in the heart of beautiful downtown Asheville, NC. QC Productions brings TEN of the best artists the Carolinas have to offer for one magical, music-packed night! Five top artists from North Carolina and five from its Southern neighbor. The CCX Music Fest Sampler was released with THREE QC Productions Exclusives! It was the first and ONLY place you could download Bombadil’s new single Escalators (until its official release on July 23) and for the first 24 hours the CCX Music Fest Sampler was available for download, an exclusive track from SC’s The Mobros’ upcoming, self-titled album was included as a “Secret Bonus Track!” The track on the Sampler that remains a**QC Productions Exclusive** is Master Plan by local Asheville favorites Doc Aquatic (from their newly-recorded album ‘TOMBS’ with no release date scheduled yet but QC Productions has gotten word that it will be out just in time for CCX Music Fest!)
