Blog alert: Screwy Hoolie comes out and Edgy Mama gets a column

There’s been big blog news of late, just in case you missed it.

First: Over the weekend, blogger Screwy Hoolie of the Scrutiny Hooligans blog came out, announcing that he is, in fact, one Gordon Smith. It was really no big secret for anyone who followed the blog or local politics, but there you have it. Go here to read his reasoning.

Second: Edgy Mama, aka local freelance writer Anne Fitten Glenn Jones, kicked off a new column at Mountain Xpress. Looks like the column, centering on parenting issues, will start online, and if everyone likes it, they’ll pick it up in the print edition.
