The Friends of the Black Mountain Library are sponsoring an essay contest for people over the age of 50. Contestants should write a 1-3 page essay entitled “I Refuse to Get Old!” Entries must be received at the Black Mountain Library by 6pm on February 8. Winners will be announced at the Friends program on Monday, February 22, at 6:30pm The top prize is $50.
