Edgy Mama writes Brewgasm and is easy on the eyes…
Tony seems pretty cool and all, but his beer columns are little more than free advertising for the breweries who choose to actively "kiss" up to him. Or so I've been told, anyway.
If Asheville is going to be Beer City USA, isn't it time we had some actual journalism on the subject, and not just puff pieces that basically regurgitate information you can get from the businesses web site or their advertising?
That Justin Farrar guy over at the Xpress is a much better writer on the subject of local beer… he needs to be featured more often.
