Attn: Grafitti artists, Web designers – Ashvegas needs your help

We at Ashvegas are fairly simple-minded. We write about what we see on TV. We take pictures. So we need other people’s help when we really want to do something special. So we turn to you, loyal readers.

We’re moving boldly ahead into 2007 with big plans for our tiny piece of the blogosphere. Here are areas where we invite recommendations, direct solicitations or your thoughtful advice:

Web design: We have tried to get the attention of at least three local Web design companies for help in redesigning. All to no avail. We’re also looking for anyones take on wordpress vs wix? Does anybody know a great Web designer who will help us out? Maybe even a WordPress designer? We want dynamic design, a great banner and a cool logo something like what MadeSimpleMedia have to offer.

Speaking of logo: We’d love to find one of Asheville’s great grafitti artists to work with on a logo. Where do you guys hang? Anybody know a name and contact info? E-mail us at [email protected].

T-shirts and crap: Once we get a great logo, we want to make T-shirts. To sell, to give away. So anybody know a great local screenprinter? Again, we tried one company last year. We had it all together, but the screenprinter never followed through. We want somebody who will get the job done, and done well.
