–Buses in Asheville are free today in an effort to make it easier for people to get to the polls and vote.
–Early voting turnout broke records this year, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.

-After you’ve voted, you can grab a taco at the new Taco Temple on Charlotte Street, which opened today.
-Asheville didn’t see any presidential candidates come through town in advance of this year’s presidential primary. Former President Bill Clinton campaigned for his wife, Hillary Clinton, at Asheville High Schoolon Sunday, while Donald Trump campaigned in Hickory on Monday. Bernie Sanders campaigned in Charlotte on Monday, as did Hillary Clinton.

-Lex 18 restaurant, known for its dinners themed after the PBS hit Downton Abbey, will host its first cosplay banquet series beginning in April and going through June to celebrate the final season of the HBO hit Game of Thrones. Tickets here. More:
Stylized after the Game of Thrones, House Lexingtons Feast of Thrones is crafted with great medieval artistry, entertainment and menu to create a stunning and authentic experience. Banners of the sigils of each of the realms Noble Houses, custom old wood and leather tables and benches, gold ceilings and walls, fur covered chairs, pewter goblets, plates and medieval style cutlery are set to compliment a creatively delicious menu resplendently presented in a room completely lit by candlelight.
This is an evening celebrating cosplay immersive dining with a cast of characters who make up the Nobles of House Lexington. Guests ticket includes: A no host bar reception with entertainment to allow guests time for photographs and camaraderie; Medieval banquet feast presented family style; and, a Black Fire and Ice obsidian amulet gift. After the feast guest are treated to a free viewing of the weeks episode of Game of Thrones.
–UNC Asheville’s women’s basketball team is headed to the NCAA basketball tournament after winning their conference tournament in a double-overtime thriller against Liberty. The 14th-seeded UNCA women will face Kentucky. The UNCA men’s basketball team is also playing in the NCAA tournament, the first time both Bulldog teams have gone dancing in the same year. The men face Villanova.
–Biltmore’s Human Resources Department will host a job fair at the estate’s Deerpark Restaurant on Thursday, March 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to a press release. More:
Biltmore is looking to fill 65 positions with its Food and Beverage team. Representatives from the Food and Beverage Department will interview applicants onsite during the event. Interested candidates should complete an application prior to attending the event at www.biltmore.com/careers, and should bring a résumé to assist in the interview process.
Participants attending the staffing event will have the opportunity to speak directly with hiring managers about available positions and learn more about career opportunities.
