You know we live in a small, wired town when it’s news that someone has returned to Twitter after a three-month absence. Then again, it’s not just anyone. It’s the supercalafagalistic Michael F. Muller, one of Asheville’s most outrageous online personalities.

Here’s a sample of today’s tweets from Muller, who admittedly crawled out of his hole after a tough few months:

Hi everyone — sorry I’ve been so out of touch with everyone. Anything happened the last few months?

@ronnieswafford Thanks Ronnie. Good to be back. I think.

Jeezus…I forgot how to work this Twitter thing

.@drewreisinger Did you get all moist? That’s a common reaction

@ukulelerockstar I’ve missed you terribly, Toots. I have lots to talk about with you. Some of it is sad & pathetic.

@sandymaxey Thanks Sandy. Been a rough few months, something you know about. We should have a bitch sesion.

@jasonbugg Ha!

On the advice of my therapist, I’ve been urged to dscuss today’s bowel movement

The pipes have been very clogged lately. I’ve been popping Percocets like Pez.

Michael, welcome back!

    supercalafagalistic? is that a typo or is that a moniker Mr. Muller has applied to himself?

    i'm sure michael would be the first to admit that the previous comments are sometimes true. : ) however, i admire the fact that mr. muller has also sucked up his pride and eaten his words whenever he has crossed the line. sure, some say he shouldn't have stumbled over it in the first place, but once there he could've just hidden himself away & never apologized. acknowledging that you've made an error in judgment and have hurt someone's feelings is difficult enough. doing it publicly to an audience of over 1000 people and accepting their rebukes is a massive undertaking. did he learn his lesson? i hope so. do i expect him to start tweeting pg-rated material? absolutely not. did i miss his wit and charms? most definitely. welcome back michael, i have missed your words. : )

    I don't care. I never liked him in the first place. He was frequently rude and mean spirited, ideologically confused and socially immature. It would take a monumental reform of character for me to give a hoot what he tweets.
