Here’s the story:

Two people were arrested Tuesday night when Bristol, Va.‘s SWAT Team went to arrest one suspect on a warrant and found another arrest in the parking lot of the same building.
The department was responding to a call on John Henry McAlpin, 110 Bear Creek Lane, Asheville, NC who was at D-4 Belle Meadows Apartments, 300 Beech Street in Bristol, Va. They received information that McAlpin was in possession of crack cocaine. McAlpin was already wanted on the same charges, with intent to distribute and obstruction of law enforcement officers which stemmed from a traffic stop last month. During that traffic stop, McAlpin managed to escape.

Approximately $1,500.00 worth of crack cocaine was found as a result of the search along with $1,990 in cash. McAlpin was charged with an additional charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. McAlpin is being held without bond.
