Via Asheville Citizen-Times reporter/columnist/blogger Carol Motsinger:

Constance Ensner, one of Asheville’s true fashion mavens, has an exciting new project up her glamorous sleeve: A pop-up shop downtown.

A new sign up in the empty storefront window at 35 Battery Park Ave. sends curious customers to http://www.constancepopup.com. Turns out the space, which has been empty for at least a couple years, will be transformed into a temporary boutique (that’s what pop-up means — it’s a business that occupies a rented space for a limited time).

The sparse website notes the boutique will be up for 30 days starting Oct. 12.

Sounds great. Can’t wait to check it out. Constance is an Asheville pioneer – she opened a downtown shop long before it started experiencing its current renaissance. Can’t wait to check it out.

The store will be located at 35 Biltmore Avenue. It will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. It will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. And on Sunday, hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
