Press release here. These guys put on a show in February and I thought it was a great event. I found a bunch of cool records and had fun checking out the music:
Announcing the Asheville Music Collectors Show , Sunday April 14, 2013 at the Sheraton Four Points in downtown Asheville NC, 10am to 4pm. This unique event features music dealers from all over the Southeast, who will offer rare vintage vinyl LPs and 45s, plus CDs, DVDs, memorabilia, and much more – at a variety of price ranges. This event allows you the chance to find that “holy grail” vinyl title or CD that you have been looking for, and we guarantee there will be music offered at the show that cannot be found in local stores. This will be the “biggest and best one-day music store” in the Carolinas! Free admission. Please contact the show’s organizer and promoter, Gregory Neal, for questions or comments.
Attention: News and Entertainment Media – If you are interested in writing about this event, (perhaps along the lines of “the new vinyl craze”, “the return of the vinyl record”, or “the hobby of music collecting”, etc.), then please contact me for an interview or story.
ps Also, I really want to promote the fact that this is a “buy-sell-trade” show, so that people can bring their “clean” records to sell or trade and make extra money for themselves.
