Daniel Sunjata, Andie MacDowell, Diahann Carroll, Annabeth Gish and Ashley Williams will star in the Lifetime original pics “At Risk” and “The Front,” based on the novels by bestselling crime writer Patricia Cornwell.The telepics mark the first time Cornwell’s novels have been adapted for the screen (Daily Variety, March 16).

My sources tell me that our dear Rose is desperately in need of cash right now. In addition to this deal, she is looking at other ways to come up with some cold hard cash to meet some serious debts. Watch this space.

Who cares, Mr/Ms Anonymous? Well, I don’t personally, but I think it’s sorta cool that these are Patricia Cornwell books. Isn’t she from Black Mountain? And good friends (weird) with the Billy Graham family?
