A heart-warming rendition of Alabama’s very popular “Angels Among Us” sung by a diverse student body and exceptional soloist Mars Mignon of Vance Elementary Asheville NC has been catching the attention of many since it recently went up on YouTube and featured in the Citizen-Times “Take 5” of Asheville. Hope you enjoy it and think it is worthy of a Post too!
Mars played on Ken & Tammy morning show last Thurs. and video on their website also on Ashley Davis the River 98.1 blog. Now picked up by VidoEmo.

Great holiday song.
The school music program including an after school choral group with music teacher Miss Stacy Hipps is top notch. Went from 8 students last year to 32 and growing. The enthusiasm and inspiration this program has given these many children & their families in the stressful economic times can not be measured.
The students not only sing, they have all learned the xylophone & recorder and Mars plays guitar and another student the drums.
