Are movies showing at Wedge Brewing?

Asheville’s Beer Guy recently had a story about outdoor movies at Wedge Brewing starting up again. The movies are shown on the side of a truck outside the River Arts District brewery every Saturday. The first movie, Harold and Maude, was scheduled to screen Friday. Fantasia, Duck Soup and Stop Making Sense are just a few of the other movies set to run through September.

But I was at the Wedge on Friday and noticed a handwritten note scribbled on the movie schedule posted inside. The note said the movies were on hold until the brewery works out copyright fees for the movies. I didn’t stick around to see if the movie went off or not.
