This is always a great show. Don’t miss it! Press release:

Asheville’s own Runaway Circus and the Loose Cabooses will be presenting their 6th annual community circus at the Odyssey School during the last two weekends in March 2012!

This year’s all volunteer show entitled, Rock Paper Scircus, will explore the wonderful world of games, from the classics that children have played for ages to the video games of modern obsession. Prepare to have your socks knocked off with real live acrobatics, juggling, magic, and more – all set to a live musical score!

Showtimes are March 23-25 and 30- April 1st at the Odyssey School located at 90 Zillacoa Street near UNCA in Asheville. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 pm with doors opening at 6:30 and Sunday shows are at 2pm with doors opening at 1:30. Plus, just before the Sunday performance on March 25th, the circus performers will put on a side-walk parade from downtown Asheville to the Odyssey school. The parade will meet up at Pritchard Park at 12, and leave around 12:30. Everyone is invited to be part of the parade, so come join in!

Cost of admission is a $10 suggested donation, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. Each night, 25% of all proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit, and on Sunday April 1st will go to Odyssey School! The rest goes into making a great show for next year! The Runaway Circus & the Loose Cabooses is a not-for-profit group based in Asheville, NC. Their mission is to entertain and inspire the community with their breathtaking performances. With extraordinary feats of acrobatics, juggling, slapstick, and musical talent, they are sure to leave any spectator with their jaw dropped and their stomach aching from laughter.
