Monte Vista Hotel to be featured on UNC-TV’s ‘North Carolina Weekend’

The historic Monte Vista Hotel in Black Mountain is proud to announce that the hotel has been chosen by the production team of UNC-TV’s “North Carolina Weekend” to be filmed and featured for an upcoming episode of the program to air this spring. Filming will take place over the weekend of February 10-11, 2012.

The Monte Vista is inviting the community to share in this special event. Please join the owners of the hotel for a cocktail party on Friday, February 10, 6-8 p.m. Meet the producers from UNC-TV’s “North Carolina Weekend,” enjoy live music, hors’ d’oeuvres, specialty drinks, amazing art, and the artists behind the works.

The special guest artist for this event is Cleaster Cotton of Asheville, who will be attending the cocktail party. Her work will be featured at the Monte Vista Hotel from February 2- March 20.
