From the Asheville Citizen-Times:

12 Bones Smokehouse, a favorite ribs and barbecue spot for President Obama and local folks, will close for the holidays Christmas Eve.

The restaurants two locations — at 5 Riverside Drive and 3578 Sweeten Creek Road — are taking its holiday break starting Dec. 24 and will reopen Jan. 19.

Even if the employees don't get paid, they know all year that they've got a month off; not all businesses are that courteous.

whether or not they get paid is between the owners and the staff, should not be a concern of anyone else…

But do the employees get paid? I always wondered about this. I like vacations and all but I like money more.
