It's for the National Geographic Channel. It's on the Montana House in West Asheville, and the people who live there. Several months ago, the house was profiled here: http://www.americarecycled.org/the-montana-house/
I've mentioned the Montana House on my blog before, and a few months ago I started getting some search hits on it. I speculate that Rollins and Co. were location scouting at the time. I wonder if that means ol Hank Rollins was reading up on my blog?
Yep… I ran into H.R. at the AVL airport as they were leaving around 11:30am yesterday. Contrary to the prior poster's observation, Mr. Rollins was much more kind to the ticket counter representatives than most of the other 'regular folk' in line and was very kind to those who spoke with him, in spite of the issues they were having checking all the production gear for (obviously) the same show, as well as the regular airport mess we all deal with. I skipped over to Henry Rollins' website and read his post on the show they're filming and their time in Asheville… sounds like an interesting show!
I heard mr rollings didnt tip at west asheville izzys either, what a cheap bastard. also he was filming some hippies in west asheville who live in some "urban homestead" that eat road kill and dumpster dive for some tv show
