Word on the street: Google rally Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. at McCormick Field

Word on the street is that the Asheville Google Fiber Network Initiative will hold a rally from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday at McCormick Field. This is unconfirmed at this point. Can anyone confirm?
