I used to work at Boathouse, the inside and outside atmosphere will be perfect for a Wild Wings! The outside seating with a view of the lake will be great in the summer!
Realistically there is really not a market for Wild Wings anywhere but Airport Road.
I’m not sure I agree with that. This location is on the way to Biltmore Park, aka downtown South Asheville. Other development is on the way in this area too, especially on the west side of the bridge. I believe there’s a sizable apartment complex going in over there, and there are already several more nearby, not to mention the high school. I can see a market for this kind of restaurant in this kind of location, even though I’m not terribly excited about it.
. . . and Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville. That place always looks busy to me.
This would be great, hope it works out for SAVL!
Great, serve alcohol right across the street from a High School. It will be doomed because of the location and would be a better fit for Gerber Village near Frankie Bones. Probably just a rumor but I will check into it.
Nobody seemed to mind when it was a restaurant and bar for several years previously.
Makes sense for that area.
