Word on the street: Classie Car Wash on Merrimon Avenue changes hands

Bob and Denise’s Classie Car Wash has changed hands, according to word on the streeet around Asheville. The family-owned car wash, which had been up for sale for a year or more, now apparently has a new owner and a new name.

    I miss Classie already. I hope the new place is as good as Classie. I wonder what happened to all their workers? Will they be back?

    Old story, Ash. News 13 had it last weekend. I do not recall the new name, but saw work being done there during a drive by on Merrimon.
