WNC Bee School to present intermediate bee school at the end of January

Going beyond the basics: The WNC Bee School is presenting a three day Intermediate Bee School on the campus of Warren Wilson College.  On January 30-31 and February 6 of 2010 the School will feature speakers and classes to expand the knowledge and techniques of experienced beekeepers.  For more information or to register go to  http://www.wncbees.org   or call Buncombe County Cooperative Extension, (828) 255-5522.

2010 Bee School

The 2010 WNC Intermediate Bee School will provide continuing education for experienced beekeepers.

 

WHEN:

·  Saturday January 30th

·  Sunday January 31st

·  Saturday February 6th

·  Sunday February 7th (reserved as snow day)

 

WHERE:

·  Kittredge Theater and the Jensen Building, Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC

 

WHAT TIME:

·  Registration begins at 8:00 AM, Kittredge Theater lobby

·  Saturday classes will run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, lunch on your own

·  Sunday 12:30 to 4:30 PM

 

COST:

·  $35 per person, maximum registration 300 (first come, first serve)

** The Sat. Jan. 30th session of guest speakers will be available for $10 to those not registered for the 3 day course, space allowing

    As you may recall I went to one of these at Brushy Mountain and found it was extremely informative and useful. Go if your a bee keeper or if your just plain curious. More than just honey comes from all the work they do.
