WLOSers: Police ‘very close’ to making arrest in gang-related shooting

WLOSer Pat Simon said tonight at 6 that Asheville police were “very, very close” to making an arrest in the weekend shooting that severely injured a 12-year-old at a birthday party in Montford and wounded two 17-year-old girls.

This has been a high-profile case that’s really raised awareness about the problem of gangs in our area. Let’s hope police do make an arrest, and that somebody goes to jail.
