Answer man: WLOSer Khumaria is pregnant

Asheville Citizen-Times’answer man, reports:

“I am pregnant,” said Kumarhia, who’s been with WLOS almost 10 years. “This is our first child, and I did have a rough start with the pregnancy.”

Kumarhia, who is due in late January, has asthma and had some trouble with a severe attack early in the pregnancy while covering a story. Her doctor recommended she not cover stories such as fires that may aggravate the asthma.
