Controversial Party

A club that promotes a swinging lifestyle has plans to come to the mountains.

The Xanadu Club, which is based in the Upstate, was promoting a party in Asheville on September 27th. The club’s president, who did not want to be identified, says his group is legal and safe but now it has changed it’s plans and will not hold a party in Asheville. He says he’s afraid it has already attracted to much attention but he says he will be holding parties here in the future. The president of the club says next time they will keep the party location a secret.

The Asheville Police Department told us today that from time to time they hear about parties like this and vice squad officers investigate. If there is any lewd act being committed in public, they can make arrests.

No wonder they can’t stop street prostitution right in front of the Middle School.
