WLOSers did a story about a former Marine walking the Appalachian Trail in bare feet – Kassandra Pride said the guy was doing it for a “triple amputee,” whatever that is; they showed some video of a dude with a garden house trying to fight a trailer fire; there was breaking weather news about a bad thunderstorm with hail out in Swain County; and that was about it. O, there’s going to be a water servie interruption somewhere. There are water service interruptions all the time, but they only make the first three minutes of the news on Sunday. Why is that? Russ looked like he just woke up before air time.

I’m guessing a tripple amputee is a guy who has….you know…had three amputated limbs.

Like 2 legs and an arm, or both arms and one leg.

Not sure about the triple amputee part (well, obviously, I know what a triple amputee is, but not which particular triple amputee he’s referencing), but here’s the guy’s Web site: http://www.thelongwalkhome.org
