Gready developer could not afford the renovation costs. I walked through the building when they doing the demo of the building and as you can imagine the building was a mess. Structural beams cut everywhere due to adding bathrooms and misc. stuff through the years. Sad but I think that building will sit like that for another year or so. Kicked out all those people who lived there and now its an empty building. What a dick.
Hearn rented that location all along. They never owned the building they were in.
Mr. Hearn told me that himself back in the early 80’s.
I thought I saw a "For Sale" sign on it last time I walked by.
The idiot developer probably went belly up and moved back to Florida!
JM Hearn Bicycles has moved out and down onto Asheland … the store had been in that location forever ….
