We were so busy running around Bele Chere that we didn’t really watch the news. We saw something about some conterfeit checks in Marion getting cashed to the tune of $24,000; construction on the new park to memorialize little Avery King in Woodfin has started; Carolyn Ryan was standing on top of the WLOS van down at Bele Chere and said a thunderstorm blew in. That was about all we saw.
