Note here, from loyal reader Barbara:

Hi, Jason ~

This Fall a yoga studio opened in Weaverville en route to the north county.  Weaverville Yoga is a small, quiet, peaceful studio just across the alley from the Well Bred Bakery.  We have a full schedule of classes and though we have a few challenging classes, our ideal student is someone either new to yoga, returning after some time, reluctant to dive into a large, athletically oriented class at a gym, or just preferring a small setting with a caring teacher.  The teachers at Weaverville Yoga are the finest I have met ever – from a variety of backgrounds and styles, but all warm and wonderfully expert.

We have gentle yoga for recovery from stress or illness, winding down yoga in the evening at 6 pm, Flexible Stretches for the Inflexible Guy taught by physical therapist (and guy) Greg Zocher.  In mid February, Leslie Cunningham returns to teaching Ashtanga Friday mornings at 8.30.  In the beginning of February, Tricia MacDonald begins teaching a Wednesday evening series applying yoga to depression and anxiety.

Namaste,
Barbara Schauer

It is, indeed, the waterfall at Lake Louise. And that is our Ashtanga teacher, Leslie Cunningham, with the welcoming smile.

It looks like it might just be the little one behind Lake Louise on Reems Creek.
